How To Size A Pool Filter

Correctly sizing your pool equipment is the key to ensuring a high-functioning system. Purchasing an incorrectly sized filter system can lead to numerous issues down the road for your pool.

In the first place, look at your swimming pool size in gallons. If you’ve never calculated this before, just tell us your pool size with length, width, depth, and also shapes, round,  rectangular or oval.

With the pool size in gallons, the next is to choose the correct-size filter and corresponding pump. Generally we suggest that 5 hours per a filter cycle for your pool water is a standard for choosing filter system. But purchasing a slightly larger filter size is not a bad idea. A larger filter size can be more efficient and powerful than the actual size your pool needs. Take a sample to explain it more clear:

the volume of our pool SP5512Bl is 26.61 cubic meters, our injected-tank filter 1025 with 450W pump is a right choice. For the flow rate of 1025 filter system is 8.5 cubic meters per hour, the formula is : 26.61/8.5=3.13 hours, it means that it takes only 3 hours to finish a filter cycle for the pool with 1025 filter. That’s perfect.
